Architecture and structure fight occasionally. MEP fights constantly — with the structure, with the ceiling, with itself, and with whatever got installed first. Most of the money lost to clashes in a building is lost above a ceiling.

ARIA produces MEP models and drawings built for coordination: routed with real fittings, sized against the engineer’s calculations, sloped where slope matters, and checked against the other disciplines before the set goes out.

What you get

• Mechanical — ductwork routed with real fittings and transitions, equipment placed and connected, diffusers and terminals scheduled.
• Plumbing — supply, waste, and vent routed with slope, fixture connections, riser diagrams, and a schedule that matches the plan.
• Electrical — conduit and cable tray routing, panel and equipment placement, lighting layouts, and one-line coordination.
• Fire protection — sprinkler main and branch layout coordinated against structure and ceiling.
• Clash coordination — federated against architectural and structural models, with a filtered report you can take into a coordination meeting.
• Sheet production — plans, sections, details, riser diagrams, and schedules generated from the model.

Modeled from your engineering, not instead of it

ARIA does not size systems, perform load calculations, or make engineering decisions. Your engineer sizes it and seals it; we model it, route it, coordinate it, and draw it. That line is deliberate and we do not blur it — it is what makes it safe for a licensed firm to hand production work to an outside desk.

Practically, that means we need your calcs, equipment schedules, and design intent up front. Send them with the scope and the first pass comes back much closer to right.

Coordination workflow

The useful version of clash detection is not a 4,000-line report. It is a short, grouped, prioritized list: hard clashes that stop work, soft clashes inside required clearances, and items that need a design decision rather than a modeling fix. We deliver it in that form, with view snapshots, so a coordination meeting takes an hour instead of a morning.

Existing buildings

Renovation and retrofit work usually starts with figuring out what is actually up there. If you have scan data, MEP as-built modeling is covered under scan-to-BIM. If you have nothing but old drawings and photos, we can work from that too — with an honest statement of what is verified and what is assumed.
