The work most outsourcing shops turn down

There is a wide market for someone to draw a floor plan. There is a very narrow market for someone who can build a corridor model in OpenRoads, resolve superelevation, and produce cross sections that a DOT reviewer will accept.

Bentley-fluent production capacity is genuinely scarce in the US, and it is the reason a lot of infrastructure teams end up staffing up for a six-month spike they did not want to hire for. That is the gap ARIA fills.

What you get

  • Corridor modeling — alignments, profiles, templates, superelevation, and corridor objects built to produce sections and quantities, not just a pretty 3D string.
  • Roadway and highway geometry — horizontal and vertical alignment development, intersection and roundabout geometry, sight distance checks.
  • Bridge and structures geometry — abutments, piers, girder layouts, and deck geometry coordinated against the roadway model.
  • Site and grading design — surfaces, feature lines, grading objects, pond and basin geometry, earthwork volumes with a cut/fill report.
  • Utility and drainage modeling — storm and sanitary networks, structure tables, profiles, and conflict checking against the corridor.
  • Plan production — plan and profile sheets, cross sections, typical sections, and detail sheets in your agency or firm sheet standard.

Agency standards

Infrastructure work lives and dies on conformance. State DOT CAD standards, sheet templates, seed files, level libraries, and cell libraries all differ, and a set that ignores them gets bounced regardless of how good the geometry is. Send the standard you are working to and we produce inside it. If you are working to a VDOT, NCDOT, or comparable state standard, say so at quoting time — it changes the setup, not the price logic.

Why US-based matters here

A meaningful share of infrastructure work carries residency, security, or contractual requirements that offshore production simply cannot satisfy. ARIA is US-based and US-staffed. For federally funded, defense-adjacent, or state-contracted work, that is not a marketing line — it is a prequalification requirement.

Most infrastructure work is scoped as a fixed-price package per submittal milestone, or as a monthly retainer when a program has predictable ongoing production. Either way you get scope, price, and turnaround in writing before work begins.

Common questions

Do you work in Bentley or Autodesk?

Both. OpenRoads Designer, OpenBuildings, and MicroStation on the Bentley side; Civil 3D and AutoCAD on the Autodesk side. Deliverables come back in your native format, not converted.

Can you work to a state DOT CAD standard?

Yes. Send the seed files, level library, cell library, and sheet templates and we produce inside them. Tell us the agency at quoting time so the setup is right from sheet one.

Do you produce quantities and earthwork?

Yes — cut/fill reports, surface volumes, and quantity takeoffs generated from the model rather than measured off a PDF.

Is this work done in the US?

Yes. ARIA is US-based and US-staffed, which matters for federally funded, defense-adjacent, and state-contracted infrastructure work with residency or security requirements.
