What this actually is

Most drafting work does not arrive as a clean brief. It arrives as a marked-up PDF, a napkin sketch, a survey, a set from 2011 that needs updating, or a phone call that starts with “we’re three days out and I’m short a drafter.” ARIA takes work in whatever state it exists and returns finished sheets.

The output is production drafting: plans, elevations, sections, enlarged plans, details, schedules, and the sheet index that ties them together. You keep design authority and the seal. We keep the mouse moving.

What you get

• Construction document sets — full CD packages or individual sheets, drawn to the level of detail your reviewer expects.
• Shop and fabrication drawings — steel, millwork, precast, glazing, and misc. metals, dimensioned for the shop rather than for the pretty picture.
• Redline and markup turnaround — you mark the PDF, we incorporate. The fastest way to buy back an evening.
• As-built and record drawings — field markups and existing sets converted into clean, current documentation.
• Drawing cleanup and standards conformance — inherited files brought onto your layer standard, text styles, and title block.
• Format conversion — PDF, scanned paper, or image to fully editable DWG or RVT geometry. Not a traced raster underlay: real, snappable linework.

Working to your standards, not ours

The fastest way to lose money on outsourced drafting is getting work back that does not match your set. Wrong title block. Layers that do not map. Text that shifts when the file opens on your machine. What was supposed to save four hours costs six.

So the first thing we ask for is your template. If you have a documented CAD standard, we work in it. If you do not, we reverse-engineer it from your last issued set and match what you actually do — which is usually more accurate than the standard anyway. ARIA also maintains in-house NCS- and AIA-compliant AutoCAD and Revit templates for firms that would rather start from a clean baseline than hand one over.

Quality control before it reaches you

Every set runs a documented checklist before delivery: sheet index against actual sheets, xref paths bound or relative, layer audit, purge and audit, text and dimension style consistency, plot check at issue size, and a visual sweep of every sheet at 100%. Production help should reduce the number of things you have to look at, not add to them.

How a typical job runs

You send the scope — markups, a reference set, a description. Within one business day you get a fixed quote with scope, price, and turnaround in writing. Work starts on your approval. You get a review pass built into the price, and revisions until the set is right. Native files and exports are handed over at the end. No lock-in, no file hostage situation.
